Called to the Truth

In the Urantia Book, we learn that Jesus’ entire life was dedicated to living and revealing the truth. He consistently taught that truth is not just something we believe or understand intellectually; it is something we must live. Jesus embodied the truth of God’s love, and he encouraged his followers to seek the truth in their own lives by aligning their actions, thoughts, and hearts with divine principles.

Jesus often said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” This powerful teaching reminds us that truth liberates us from the limitations of fear, ignorance, and spiritual stagnation. When we live in truth, we experience greater clarity and peace, as our lives become more closely aligned with God’s will.

In the Urantia Book, we are shown that Jesus valued truth above all else because it leads to a fuller understanding of God and the universe. He never forced truth upon others but always encouraged his followers to seek it for themselves. Truth, according to Jesus, is dynamic and ever-expanding, always leading us to deeper levels of understanding and closer communion with the Father.

As we reflect on Jesus’ life and teachings, let us strive to live in truth, being honest with ourselves and with others. When we make truth the guiding principle of our lives, we not only grow spiritually, but we also contribute to the greater good of humanity, helping to bring the light of truth to the world.
